ALP 28 Meter – CAFS 200 (Aerial Ladder Platform) combines the functions of firefighting, rescue operations, and reaching high-rise structures in one vehicle, enabling quicker response in various emergency scenarios without the need for multiple vehicles. ALP allows firefighters to reach and rescue individuals from high-rise buildings, providing a means to combat fires and perform rescues from elevated positions.
ALP integration with CAFS uses 750 litres of water with 15000 litres of finished firefighting foam with a 20-minute operation duration, as compared to a traditional high-pressure pump of ALP with 2000 LPM, using 40000 litres of water for a 20-minute duration during firefighting. Merging multiple capabilities into one vehicle can lead to lower acquisition and maintenance costs compared to managing a larger fleet of specialized vehicles.
